Delete your account

You can delete your Kinday account at any time from within the app. This page explains how to do that and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

Tap or click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner.

Select "Settings" from the menu.

Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account".

Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account is permanently removed immediately.

What gets deleted immediately

When you confirm deletion, the following are permanently removed:

Your Kinday account and login credentials
Your name, profile information, and family membership
All to-do items created by or assigned to you
Your Google Calendar connection and stored OAuth tokens
Your AI assistant conversation history
All other personal data associated with your account

Family and shared data

Kinday is a family app. Some data is tied to your family group rather than your individual account:

If you are the only member of your family group, the entire family record — including all calendar events and to-dos — is deleted along with your account.
If other family members remain, your personal profile and credentials are removed, but shared family events and to-dos that were created collaboratively may remain visible to the remaining members.

Data retention

Deletion is immediate and permanent. We do not retain your personal data after your account is deleted.

Anonymized, aggregated usage metrics (counts of feature interactions with no personal identifiers) may be retained for up to 90 days for product improvement purposes.

Can't sign in to delete your account?

If you're unable to access the app, email us and we will delete your account and all associated data on your behalf within 30 days.
